The Animal+World Show is organised every few years by Animal Defenders International and the National Anti-Vivisection Society. From humble beginnings as an annual exhibition to mark World Lab Animal Day, Animal World Show Limited was established and launched in its own right in 1994, as a European animal and environmental show.
Following the success of the 1994 event, further Shows were staged in 1995, 1996 and 2000; all were huge successes, attracting thousands of visitors and media attention. Although aimed at a young and ethically-aware audience, the event's visitors have included businessmen and women, pensioners as well as families, alongside specially-invited school and youth groups. Perhaps the Animal World Show audience could better be described as the enthusiastic young-at-heart.
